MISSION-

**Mission**  
The U.S. Militia Disaster Response Division (USM‑DRD) exists to support communities before, during, and after disasters through organized volunteer service, rapid needs assessment, and coordinated relief operations. We focus on preparedness, communications, logistics support, and community assistance—working within the law and alongside local direction when requested.

**What we do**  
• Recruit, train, and deploy vetted volunteers for disaster support roles  
• Provide basic disaster preparedness education and skills training  
• Assist with supply distribution, welfare checks, and community support tasks  
• Support communications and coordination to help resources reach the right places faster

1. **What is USM‑DRD?**  
   A volunteer disaster-response division focused on preparedness, coordination, and community assistance.

2. **How do I request assistance?**  
   Use the Intake Form on this page. Provide your location, contact info, and the type of help needed or use email address provided.
 

3. **What kinds of help can you provide?**  
   Needs assessment, logistics support, supply distribution support, welfare check-ins, and coordination assistance (as available).

4. **Are you a government agency?**  
   No. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit volunteer organization. We coordinate with local direction when requested and operate within the law.

5. **How do I volunteer?**  
   Select “Volunteer” on the Intake Form and we’ll contact you with next steps and training info.

6. **Do you offer training?**  
   Yes. We offer preparedness and basic response training. Choose “Training Signup” on the Intake Form.

7. **Is there a cost for assistance?**  
   No. Assistance is volunteer-based and depends on availability and safety conditions.

8. **How can I donate?**  
   Use the Donations option on this page (or contact us if you don’t see it yet).
